1. Introduction
These Vendor Terms of Service (“Agreement”) outline the terms between Creative Designer Directory (“we”, “our”, or “us”) and you (“vendor”, “you”) who list and sell products or services on our platform. By registering as a vendor, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
Vendors must be at least 18 years old or have verified parental or guardian consent to participate. You must be the rightful owner or authorized representative of the business or creative brand you are listing.
To join the Creative Designer Marketplace, you must first be an active member of the Creative Designer Directory, which requires a one-time or annual listing fee. Marketplace access is only available to verified directory members.
3. Approved Products and Services
Vendors may list:
- Website templates (Showit only – see Section 4)
- Digital downloads designed for creative professionals
- Services that are conducted on or for a Showit website such as template customization, SEO services, branding and copywriting.
All listings must align with the goals and audience of the platform.
4. Showit Template Requirement
All website templates listed for sale must be created specifically for the Showit platform. You must be the original creator of the template. Selling or uploading templates made by other creators is strictly prohibited unless you have a written agreement or license with the original designer.
Unauthorized reselling or copying of other people’s work will result in immediate removal from the platform.
5. Commission and Fees
Creative Designer Directory takes a 20% commission on each sale. The remaining 80% is paid to you, the vendor. There are no listing fees or setup fees. Commission rates may be updated in the future with prior notice to all vendors.
6. Payouts
Vendor earnings are paid out via PayPal or Bank Transfer. You may:
- Receive automatic payouts monthly
- Or request a manual payout at any time via your vendor dashboard
You are responsible for ensuring your payout details are accurate and up to date.
7. Digital Delivery
Vendors are responsible for:
- Uploading digital product files
- Ensuring proper setup of download links via WooCommerce
- Delivering any additional assets or documentation promised in the product description
If offering services like customization, you are responsible for client communication and delivery of that service.
8. Branding and Communication
Vendors maintain full branding through their vendor profile, product listings, and downloadable materials. You may:
- Include your business name and logo
- Promote additional services
- Contact buyers directly for follow-up or support
You agree to maintain professional and respectful communication at all times.
9. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of the content you list or upload. By listing your product or service, you grant Creative Designer Directory a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, promote, and market your listings across our website, emails, and social platforms.
10. Customer Service
You are responsible for responding to buyer inquiries related to your products or services, and for setting your own refund policy. We encourage clear communication and prompt response times.
11. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the products sold on the Creative Designer Marketplace, all sales are final and non-refundable. Once a template or digital file is purchased, it cannot be returned or exchanged.
Refunds will only be issued in the case of:
- A duplicate purchase of the same template by the same customer
It is the vendor’s responsibility to clearly communicate what is included in each product listing and to ensure files are delivered as described.
12. Store and Account Termination
You may close your vendor store at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to remove vendor access or listings if:
- Terms are violated
- Products are inappropriate or non-compliant
- Fraudulent or unethical activity is found
Any eligible earnings will still be paid out per the regular schedule.
13. Privacy and Customer Data
You may receive limited customer information (such as name and email) solely for the purpose of delivering services or offering support. This information must not be shared, sold, or used for unsolicited marketing. All vendor activity is subject to our Privacy Policy.
14. Modifications
These terms may be updated from time to time. You will be notified of any material changes via email or vendor dashboard. Continued use of the platform confirms acceptance of updated terms.
15. Promotional Use of Products
By listing a product or service, you allow Creative Designer Directory to use your images, product titles, and descriptions in promotions. This may include social media posts, ads, newsletters, blog features, and homepage placements. We will credit or tag your store whenever appropriate.
